Netweaver installation on unix solaris 10 x86 - 64 bit

Hi experts,

We are going to install netweaver7.0 on solaris 10 x86-64bit,oracle 10g

so,

what are steps to install it?

where to get sap inst and java for unix solaris?

how to set java environment variable?

    If you have the access to http://service.sap.com then go to the support portal and under QUICK LINKS find out the section----> /instguides.

    Here you will find all the documents related to your requirement, which includes all the steps, including the Java also on Solaris.

    Moreover, under QUICK LINKS at /swdc, you can download the relevant SAPINST software dumps.

    Hi,

    Refer http://service.sap.com/instguides for detailed information on how to install.

    Steps to Install:

    Ensure DB is installed.

    Install JDK and set environment variable JAVA_HOME

    Software can be downloaded from http://service.sap.com/swdc

    Start sapinst.exe from the Installation master DVD. This will take you through the installation screens.

    Ensure you have a Solman to generate the Solman key.
