Unable to release PO: error message MEPO823 ?

Hi All,

With my ID I unable to release PO. But Those of having 'SAP_ALL' Authorization ,able to do can do release.

Which is missing for me. What I need to do PO release.

R1 L1 Rel 1 Assets < 2000

R1 L2 Rel 1 Assets >= 2000

R1 I1 Rel 1 I < 500

R1 I2 Rel 1 I 500 - 999

R1 I3 Rel 1 I 1000 - 9,999

R1 I4 Rel 1 I > 9,999

R1 C1 Rel 1 Expense < 1000

R1 C2 Rel 1 Expense 10- 999

R1 C3 Rel 1 Expense > 999

Pls suggest me.

Check for your log in id is release group and release code is assign to it. ( tcode SE01)

Hi VIPIN THAKRE ,

I assigned release grop to class.

and release code to release group.But I dont know what I have to do with SE01.

Still unable to release,getting same error.

Hi,

Go to SU01,and assign RPRDRLXXXX,where XX will be release group,release code.

And you should assign Pur grp authorization to your user id.

Hi,

The release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).

go SU01 check for above object , if above object is missing add to your user id. and assign respective release group and release code , take basis guy help.

My Release Group-R1,Code-02.

RPRDRLR102 - Is this Role or Profile.Beacuse it doesn't exist right.

Hi All,

Thank You for your valuable suggestion,I solved the above problem, But the new problem Im facing is.

I created release strategy for 3 users.

when first user(Chupon Hoon) approved the PO.The Second User (Hwaku) need to release but he unable to release ,there is no 'release Option' appearing for him.But second user not getting error message like PO?:30XXXXX MEPO823.

Pls advise why second user unable to find 'release option'.

Hi,

Assign the release code authorization for the second level release in user's profile.

It will solve the problem.

Would request you to check through SU01D if your user id is tagged to the Relase code and Release group .Who have been given SAP _ALL role this role would provide them authorizations for release groups and Release codes , that is their ids they have star entered in the fields of Relase codes and Release Groups .
