Assign Variants for Real-Time Integration to Company Codes

Dear All,

Our client is on ECC6 and is implement in last year only and having one Company code.

Document splitting is activated and working fine.

They have not activated "Assign Variants for Real-Time Integration to Company Codes"

I am not able to understand what is the implication of not activating it.

They have not assigned anything in 'Define Rules for Selecting CO Line Items'.

Can we activate it now. and what will be the advantage of it.

Regards,

Shayam

    Hi,

The impact of not activating is that for integration of CO and FI you need to execcute periodic run ( KALC )

If you activate it now, this will be effective for all the entries done after the activation.

It is better to activate it to use the advance feature of real time integration of CO with FI and it helps in fast closing and less period end activities.

    Regards,

    Gaurav

Run the KALC before activation this will reconcile the CO to FI, In case any postings are required system will post.
