Costing Run Mark and Release

Hi,

a) I have done cost estimate in CK11N for 1 material its been successfully saved.. next step I want to mark and release in CK24 for the same material, while doing this step its giving message "Marking not authorised for period 004/2011 for co.code xxx" 0 materils and 0 cost estimates were updated successfully.."

please advise how can I fix this..

2) I am able to see log in CK13N there is some messages"message 694 No structure could not be determined for internal activity XXX and (cost cetner).

I have done price update for activity type and coster in KP26 but still its showing above the message.

3) Is it require to select don't cost check box for all materials or its require for only finished and semi finished prodiuct(BOM) in Material Master View "Costing View1"

Hi

Q1 - Open period 4 in MM & FI before you can mark and release the cost estimate

Q2 - Execute Ck11N again after maintaining the activity price.. Errror should go

Q3 - You need not select it for any material.. There is no such rule.... At most, you can select it for RM/PM i.e. input components..

Dont select it for SFg/FG

Thanks for quick response Ajay garu,

Mark and release successfully done,

a) Price Change Doc has been generated, where can we see this?(in CK24 after released)

b) where we can see impact of Material Origin check box in Costing 1 view in Material Master. I have selected this check box for all type of materials. FG,SFG,RM,Pack... etc..
