item category TAP missing in quotation list

Dear SAP gurus,

I'm using the transaction VA25 in order to get the list of quotations.

Unfortunately in the list I cannot get in the list the quotation's items of the category type TAP (Pric.at Item Level),

Could you pls explain me the reason?

Check you have maintained correct selection criteria by clicking organizational data button and then Further selection criteria button on the top.

VA25 gets the data on selection criteria, go to VA25 > click on Further selection creitria > mainatin your sales area and enter.

you get list of quotations. it will not check item cat in standard, check also if any logic changes in your program - SAPMV75A

actually my problem is caused by a wrong value in the field "Status".

even if the overall status of my quotation list is open, the status in the list is completed and the item disappears form the open quotation list.

Does anyone knows how the system determines the Status (VBMTV-STATU)?

The status is governed by the settings in the item category. In t.code VOV7, for quotation item category, check the value assigned in the field completion rule.Maintain value B and check again.

the completion rule of item category TAP is "blank", I created a new item type ZTAP with completion rule "B" and now the quotation list works.

( but I still do not understand in the standard system which item type should be used for quotation concerning sales bom).
