Top Of Page while printing from ALV Display

Hi All,

I have the top of page which gives details of selection screen in the ALV top container in the output. Now when i try printing the output through the menu, List->Print, then a spool gets created. Since top of page, my selection screen details appear in all the pages.

Now my problem is i have to put this selection screen details only in the first page and not in all the pages. Ne inputs will be helpful. i also tried putting it in top of list but is not working..

Hi serdar,

Actually in ALV grid Display, this TOP_OF_LIST will not work. and the sy-pagno will always remain 1 in ALV display so the top of page details were printing in all the pages. We did removed this by declaring a static variable and if sy-ucomm is 'PRIN' we set this variable and thus prevent the top of page details getting printed again and again

Hi Balajee

The event "TOP_OF_LIST" may not be seen on the ALV Grid. However, it should be printed in print preview and at spool.

Did you try those?
