Carryforwarding of Rem.Order Plan to next fiscal year.

Experts,

I have a requirement of carryforwarding the Remaining order plan to the 2011-12 fiscal year. I am using WBS Element, Network and activities.

Example: I have a plan value of Rs. 1000=00 and Actual value of Rs. 600=00. The remaining order value of Rs. 400=00 is to be carryforwarded to 2011-12 fiscal year. The Budget of Rs. 1000 - 600 = 400 is carryforwarded through CJCO. If I do network scheduling by entering the start date 01.04.2011 and end date 31.03.2012, the entire plan value of Rs. 1000=00 is coming to 2011-12 fiscal year. At this stage the budget is only Rs. 400 and giving error in commitment check. Any help please.

HI,

1. The actual cost of 600 rupees should be some how related to your network activities in 2010 (right?) OR did you post some FI / HR entries only on the WBSE?

2. Supposing the first case above, you should not reschedule the network starting from 01.04.2011 (as you must have completed some of the work in 2010). Re check the start date, enter the start date in 2010 only & adjust your rem ord plan value to the suitable value (may be 400 rupees) & cross check.
