Pass portal parameter to BW URL

Hello,

I created a portal PS cockpit with several BW iViews, which interact via eventing using EPCF.

The eventing starts with a BW iView drop-down box, which lists all available projects in the system. The user selects the project they want information on, and then the rest of the iViews on the page change accordingly.

This was a big hit, and now the end-users would like to only see the projects in the drop-down box which are owned by the portal logon user.

Is there a way to dynamiclaly pass the portal logon user ID to a BW drop down web item?

We are on portals 6.0 and BW 3.1.
