Probably an authorization issue. Talk to your security / system access folks.

But before thinking about changing any system parameter, you may want to consult the basis team

Tamas, thanks for your reply,

First, I am working with a SAP_ALL/SAP_NEW account, so I dont think it is an authorization issue.

Second, I dont need a Basis team to change this parameter.

If you can give me a more helpfull answer I will appreciate that.

Are you in transaction RZ11? Then try to enter INT in the command field.

Or use RZ10 to maintain profile parameters.

My theory is, if you don't know how to set it, you shouldn't set it at all.

Tamas was right in suggesting that changes to profile parameters should be done by a system administrator, whether you find this helpful or not.

Dear Thomas,

Your theory is saying that if you dont know how to do something you are not able to learn it???

With your theory nobody could ever know anything.

My friend, I have a question for you. Where you born knowing SAP admnistration or did you learn?

I think that instead of helping, you try to feel learning people frustated.

A hundred of points for you!!!

Now children, play nicely.

I think the point that Thomas was trying to make is something like:

It's good that brain surgeons learn to do brain surgery, but not if they start by cutting open people's heads.

Also bear in mind that the advice you are getting is free - given by volunteers.
