Hello Guys,
I need to ask for your assistance.
I have successfully Installed ECC 6.0 EHP4 SR1 in Windows 2008 SR2. After logging into the system, I am prompted with the below issue.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
OS release Windows NT 6.1 7601 Service Pack 1 4x AMD64 Level 6 (Mod 44 Step 2) is not supported with this kernel (701)
Severe problems were detected during initial system check.
Please, do not use that system before fixing these problems.

I did the Kernel upgrade from Patch Level 32 to Patch Level 117 and 111 but my services did not started. Below is the error message.
Error 14001: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.
Upon checking the log trace. Below are the findings.
Activation context generation failed for "D:\usr\sap\<SID>\DEVEBMGS00\exe\sapstartsrv.exe".
Could you please help me with this issue?
I am also wondering for the below option.
Upgrade the ECC 6.0 to EHP4 --> Do the Support Package upgrade --> Continue with the Post Processing Activities
Thanks Experts!
Thanks for all who have shared their inputs.

Hello Sheila,
you need to update your kernel to one compatible with Windows 2008 R2, likely a 64bit (are you 100% sure it's 32bit?).
Please follow these notes:

hi,
1. can you try sap note 1375494?
i had the same problem 30 minutes ago and it solved my problem.
2. normally you intall an erp 6.0 ehp4 ready system.
that means that your system is ready to install ehp4. i think it is not possible to install erp 6 with included ehp 4 in one step.
regards, martin
