Deduction with Balance and Totals % on IT 14, Fixed amt on IT 15

Hello Experts,

I have this requirement, where we need to maintain % on IT 14 and fixed amount on IT 15. % should be of /101.

This is basically, deduction with balance and totals. Where deduction amount should be the % of /101, and Balance amount is fixed.

Was wondering if there is any standard way of acheiving this functionality without writing any custom PCR.

This percentage may be change from EE to EE, hence we want it to be maintained by the user.

All Inputs are appreciated.

Thanks,

Janga K.

Relations between your Deduction WT, your Balance WT and your Total WT has to be established in table T51P1 (relations 10 to 14).

Also check PCR XDPM, XDPR, XDPT (and there are other PCRs using operation R51P1 to look at WT relations).

Hi Remi,

Thanks for your inputs, i know regarding the standard settings.

In the standard process.... we maintain deduction amt on IT 14, and Limit amt on IT15 and link the ded, bal & tot WTs in T51P1.

My requirement is something different, in my case instead of maintaining ded amt on IT 14... user will maintain Number Unit (%) on IT 14, and Limit amt in IT 15.

When we run the Payroll, deduction amt should be calculated as the % maintained in IT 14 on the WT /101.

I am not sure if i can achieve this functionality without writing a PCR.

Please let me know if there is any other way than PCR.

Thanks,

Janga K.

I believe that you will have to write a PCR to process your Deduction WT, since it would only contain a number (the %) after function P0014, and you will need it to hold the Deduction Amount before getting to the PCRs that use operation R51P1.
