Crystal Reports VS2010 OnMouseMove

I have read the thread [here|Frustrating Error - Please Help; completely twice now. I cannot add to the post so I wanted to make some additional comments/questions. Most importantly I want to ensure that the "fix" that will be implemented by SP2 covers my issue.

We built a report that has two fields on it, nice and simple. One that has "cangrow = true" and the other has "cangrow=false". This is definately the issue for our reports as while the the report is loading in our viewer if you move the mouse over the cangrow=true field it throws the exception. Also the report is 100+ pages to give us time to hover over the area.

I know that there is a fix coming in SP2, but is there anything that I can do now to work around the issue?

Thank you

Does the field contain a formula?

Can you repro the issue with a saved data report?

Can you share the report with saved data?

      1. The field contains no formula.

The query for the report is basically "select x,y from table where z like "2010-12*"

      2. We created a saved data version and was ABLE to reproduce the issue.

      3. I can give you both reports if you want let me know how to get them to you.

Thanks for getting back to me quickly!!
