MAXUSERTASKS Parameter value in RED.

Hi All,

In our production scm 7.0 system (Livecache version 7.7.07) the value of parameter MAXUSERTASKS is 250

We have onc CI and 3 Dialog instance of this SCM server and Livecache server is on separate server.

There is a RED alert on number of LC Session.

We have following configuration for work process

Central instance 35 work processes

All Dialog instnace 46 work process each on DI. (46*3)

Please let me know what should be the value for MAXUSERTASKS and i am aware that i need to restart the livecache database to get the changes activated. Is there anything other than just restart of database?

Hello,

as you know the minimum recommended value:

(Number of SCM work processes)*3 + 4.

See the SAP note 833216.

If you would like to check the configuration of the liveCache parameters spesificaly for your SCM system =>

create the SAP message.
