Download SAP Netweaver Trial on Linux

Hello,

where can I download the actual version? If follow the download link, I get the message that I should order the DVD from SAP Knowledge Shop (SAP NW2004s Testdrive MaxDB : 50077574 and SAP NW04s Testdrive Linux DB2 x86 : 50083014).

But in the shop isn't any Linux installation available.

I checked the Download area already. But if select "SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Trial Version on Linux" and try to download the files, this message appears:

There is no version of the SAP on Linux Test Drive available for download. Please order it from the SAP Knowledge Shop and search for the following material numbers:

SAP NW2004s Testdrive MaxDB : 50077574

SAP NW04s Testdrive Linux DB2 x86 : 50083014

I searched for this items in the Knowledge Shop without success.

I have the same problem and would also like to know how we can now obtain the Testdrive for Linux.

It no longer appears in the SAP Knowledge Shop either.

Right, that version is no more available.

Why not use the new 7.02 version?

Where can the Linux version of 7.02 be downloaded? I can only find the Windows version.

Hello Hannes,

Is this New Version that you are going to make available on Linux/DB2? By when do you think this could be availlable the latest.

Can it be installed on x86 (32bit) platforms?

If not .. is there a possibility that i can request SAP sales office for a NW04s test drive with Linux /DB2 on x86. I have one but seems to be corrupt as some of the files i am not able to extract

Hi Chandrakanth

We are working on a DB2 LUW version for Linux x86_64 as well, you may see some additonla delays (1-2 weeks). Plan is to release the MaxDB version for production before the end of the week, in addition Suse is working on a SLES11 Virtual appliance with sufficient disk space to house the testdrives. Regularly check the NetWeaver Section in www.sap.com/shop -> Knowledge Shop and you should see the 2 versions within the next 2-4 weeks. SDN download version for MaxDB only may take us another month and will hopefully have some added features around SAP Gateway.

I'm also very interested in a Linux version and like Chandrakanth I cannot find one. Is the Linux version still in work or have you finished working on it and I'm not able to find it?

Could you please give me more details where I should find it (now or in the future)? When I visit the Knowledge Shop I have a menu on the right side. Should I find it under "General -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NetWeaver"?

And could you also give me some information about the SLES11 virtual appliance?
