serial number relatioship

Dear gurus,

fiinshed materail & one comp are serial managed ,i am trying to make relationship through COIB,

but system is giving error 014 & 015

please provide steps for coib.

it should maitain after GR or before,what should be the status of serial no ESTO or AV

Hi

Please refer the following link which says the prerequisite before creating COIB

A prerequisite for the creation of as-built configurations from production data is that goods issues and receipts have been carried out for the orders. If the system is to propose serial numbers, these must be entered when you enter the goods movements.

i have done GR?GI with serial no for assenly & its compoment

still i am getting the error 015

is it prerequisite to go for IE51 before COIB?

Pleases provide exact steps
