price calculation method

hi Dear,

is it possible to set activity price calculation method by company or cost center?

seems price calculation method can be set up at planning version only?

my scenario like this:

companies under the same planning version and the same activity type.some company want average method and other companies want period-based method

Hi

Price calculation can be done at Planning Version only.... If your companies have different opinions about costing, then you should have separate contr area

However, there is a workaround, which can help in Std Costing

In the Planing Version - Choose Periodic Price.. however, in your Valuation Variant In Costing variant - Choose Strategy "Plan price as average of all Fiscal periods".... This will have avg price for Std Cost Calculation....

However, during Actual price calculation, it will be periodic only...

as you mentioned

1)activity price is period based,it means no year average price calculated

2)as you said ,Choose Strategy "Plan price as average of all Fiscal periods " in valuation variant,then whats price will be used for std cost calculation? because there is no average price for activity type.there is period price only.

for example.activity price is cny 10 in period 001,and its cny 15 in period 002,if i calculate std price in period 002 with ""Plan price as average of all Fiscal periods ",whats price will be used?

It will take average of Plan price of all FY periods.... i.e. Not the individal price of each period, but the price of P1-12
