HTTP Port changes in PI7.11

Hi

Do i need to change the Integration Engine HTTP port from 8000 to 50000 after upgrading to 7.11?

In PI 7.0 ABAP and JAVA communicate using different ports.

Thank

    Hi Kiran,

It is not required to change any HTTP Port after upgradation.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Naveen.

    Hi

PI 7.1 uses only single port 50000 for ABAP and JAVA communications. Does it hurt if i change it now?

    Thanks for all your replies

      Hi Baskar,

We have opened a message with sap regarding smq2 issue and this is the reply from SAP

The IS-URL parameter has changed in 7.1x systems. The 8000 port is no

longer used. Now the 50000 port is used. Please change this in the SLD

-> Business System -> pip0v. The parameter should be:

      http://servername:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Any oss note available regarding the above change

      Thanks
