Audit Management in Product Lifecycle Management

Hi all,

Our internal audit team wants to explore Audit management module. I need to turn this on in our Sandbox, so they can play around. I am having hard time to find a document on how this can be done. I can use transaction PLM_AUDIT fine in our current environment but it displays 'this program cannot display the webpage'. I am thinking there a java portion as well but other functionalities seem to be working fine.

The SAP help document describes the module but does not cover how this can be activated.

I will appreciate inputs from the experts.

Thank you in advance,

Netra

Hi Nethra,

Pls use the T.code PLMC_AUDIT For direct access to this implementation guide .

Tables, in which Customizing settings are made, have delivery class C if a deviating delivery class is not specifically mentioned. However, most of the tables in the settings for audit management have delivery class G. For G tables, you should create your own entries using the standard entries as templates and then delete the entries supplied by SAP. However, other recommendations may be made for individual tables. The advantage of the procedure described above is that, when a release update is performed, the current, and possibly improved, standard entries will again appear in your test client and these are then easy to compare with the existing entries.

what is your SAP version are yu working on for audit mgt ??

Revert back if you have any clarifications.

Thanks ,

Hi Srinivaas,

Thank you for your response. We are in ECC 6.0. I have been digging through SPRO and PLM*AUDIT t-codes. My understanding as of now is that there is no need to turn any switch on. We can simply start configuration through PLMC_AUDIT transaction code. Is my assumption correct?

Thanks again for your help.
