Documentation for a "Build Plugin" Development Component?

Hi Experts,

Has anyone ever created a Developmet Component of Type "Build Plugin"? I think this would be an elegant way of adding special build procedures to my other DCs (e.g. generating code from WSDLs).

Does anybody have a documentation or example on how to do this?
