I was experimenting with <b>TableView</b> and I added this attribute selectionMode="<b>MULTISELECT</b>". On viewing the page, the column Title for the first column is a menu containing two values:
a) <b>Select All</b>
b) <b>Deselect All</b>
These options work intermittently. I select the option <b>a</b> and it does not work. On repeated selections, (1 out of 10 times), it does work. Similarly , Deselect All.
Is there any OSS Note I am missing ?

Hi Subramanian,
I think SAP note 687013 should fix your problem (if you're using Design2003).
Generally you can find an overview of all BSP related notes in SAP note 616900.

Hi Alexander,
please apply SAP note 815785. This should solve the problem.
Before you open a OSS message, please always have a look at our FAQ note 616900.

Hi Rainer,
as posted in my OSS message this note (815785) is allready applied in our system. I thought this would solve the problem but unfortunately it didn't.
I found this note by looking at 616900, which I check regularly.
The problem can still be reproduced as described in the OSS message.

Alex
Subramanian,
We are at SP 42 for 6.20. I had to apply OSS notes 753962 and 754168 to get Select All and Deselect All to work for the Keyed select. According to the latter note, it was broken with SP 41-42.

Hi,
we are currently at SP41, Notes 753962 and 754168 (along with some others) are applied. SelectAll works fine until using a filter in the tableView.
When the table is filtered the wrong rows get selected by the SelectAll. Value 'keyColumn' is set for the table.
This problem also appears in SBSPEXT_TABLE. Therefore we have opened an OSS message and I'll update this thread here with the further devolepment of this problem.
Regards,
Alex
hi Subramanian,
Specifically with design2003 we did have a tough time to chew through all the bits and pieces to really make it work well. Although we shipped first versions of design2003 with SP28, we only really got it working with SP30. SP32 was not a bad vintage, but things really got good with about SP35. At this stage we would recommend, that if you are serious about using design2003, then just move up a few SPs.

Hi Folks,
Even with SP32 we had a problem in one scenario. Filter the table contents using Filter function and the use SELECT ALL, DESELECT ALL. SELECT ALL selects only partial rows in the filtered view. This is solved in SP43.
Give your Basis team only half the chocolates and save the rest for SP43.
