SAP B1 Web Service wrapper for 8.81 (B1WS)

Hi,

I am working on Business One Web Services (B1WS wrapper 1.1, SAP version 8.8). We are implementing our existing and new customer's / client's into SAP 8.81 from SAP 8.8, so for that I need to work on latest version of B1WS wrapper. I couldn't find wrapper for SAP B1 8.81 in SDN forum, they have released B1WS wrapper 1.1 that supports for SAP B1 8.8 only.

It would be helpful if anybody found and share with me the B1WS wrapper for SAP B1 8.81. Reach me at rajaram[at]alenu-it.com.

Hello Rajaram,

Welcome on the forum.

The 1.1 version is the latest version, I think you should use this one for 8.81. All functionality in 8.8 is available in 8.81.

The B1WS is a tool that is not support by SAP. You could also download the sourcecode and make your one changes.

It's just a tool to make our lives easier.

I tried to install the B1WS 1.1 in SAP 8.81 Notebook, but it's not working. The same solution code I deployed in SAP 8.8 (B1WS) installed Notebook then it works. Even in that URL link also they mentioned the tool B1WS 1.1 is for SAP B1 8.8 and B1WS 1.0 is for SAP B1 2007.

So that only I posted here, is there any new version B1WS available or not !

Hi Rajaram,

What is the error you have when trying to run B1WS with B1 8.81?

I though it should also work with B1 8.81 as the DI Server shouldn't have changed in the meanwhile.

Some new objects like SalesOpportunities are available in 8.81, you can regenerate them with the WsdlGenerator tool inside B1WS.

The new objects are: 117,97,540000006,1250000001,156.

In simpler words, I will appreciate of you could explain to me the use of B1WS. Will this support any web customization integrated with SAP B1?
