Hi Experts,
I have an issue whereby an internal candidate cannot apply for a requisition if an email address is not stored for them in communication infotype.
(1) I run HRALXSYNC for this user to create them as an internal candidate. If no email address is stored, no green light will appear below 'Address'
(2) This employee can then log in to the portal/e-rec and follow the application wizard to apply for a requisition. However, at the end of the process, the candidate cannot click 'Send Application'. Clicking the button just causes the data overview to re-load, but does not give the candidate the confirmation that the application has been received.
(3) This can only be resolved by either saving an email address in Communication infotype, or adding an email address directly to the business partner via tcode BP.
I assume the issue is that the workflow to send an application confirmation cannot execute because there is no email address. How can I modify the workflow to allow for the case where no email address is stored?
