Frequency in Preventive Maintenance Work Order

Dear Guru's

We have multiple items in a single plan. Each item linked to its related task list. Upon scheduling, the plan is delivering preventive maintenance work orders promptly.

Our client is delivering the work order to the work force on SLA (service level agreement) basis. For example All monthly tasks should be completed within 7days and all yearly task should be completed with 1 month.

So our client needs the Frequency in each Work order during its printing for their SLA due date calculation. In the order printout, it has the operations with manpower info but NO frequency info.

In simple language, they want to know the WO is Monthly or Yearly to process the data electronically for SLA calculation

Do any one experience this and do any one have solution or suggestion.

thanks in advance.

You can just have the frequency details as a starting description in the maintenance plan which will inherit to WO and it will reflect in the shop paper too.

And for calculating the date, You could use the user exit IWO10009 for basic finish date/due date calculated based on the priority. System will calculate basic start date+priority = basic finish date/due date.

You can customize the priorities through config and also set the scheduling parameters to "Do not Adjust basic dates ,dep rqmts to order start". As priority info prints in WO, it will have the due date of completion.

By doing all this, you could able to achieve your requirement.

Whether the frequency mention should be in the item text of the plan instead of Main description to inherit to WO?

Dear sir, thank you for the response. How to get the frequency details in the order which can come from item description? This item is linked to a TL where it has monthly and yearly task. We will have only one item description but how come the frequency info will come during the monthly task called and then during the yearly task called.

Could you please explain more.

thank you

thanks for the response.

For example the item text is as below

Preventive Maint on 38-GM-0010

It has Monthly task as well as yearly tasks (task list assigned)

So when monthly is due the order description will "preventive Maint on 38-GM-0010"

and When the yearly is due the order description will be the same since the item description is always same and only one.

So to achieve different order description during different frequency due what will be the solution.

Please elaborate. thank you.

Hi

Since in your maintenance plan you have single maintenance item which is linked to a task list for monthly and yearly activities you can only differentiate with the help of operation , or you can create 2 maintenance item with different description on separate task list and check

This may leads to data redundancy in task list (since many of the operations are common in monthly and yearly)

i am waiting for some more inputs from other experts.

Or try to create Z report which shows the due package against the order , so you can differentiate the same

I had that problem here, where we have a stragey that includse monthly, 3, 6 and 12 monhts in one strategy.

Because the text is common regardless of the frequency,we created a dummy operation for each period and select oly the frequency where it shoudl be the first thing in the list.

Do this in the Task list, like this

OPeration 10 PM01 Monthly service Frequency 1 month

Operation 20 3monthly service Frequency 3 month

OPeration 20 (first actual task) frequency 1 month 3 monht 6 monht 1 year

and so forth

operationm 30 to say 50

operation 70 Clean pump frequency 3 month 6month 1 year

etc

this is assuming your tasks are escalated.

but you get the idea

Hope this helps.

Hi,

From your requirement description what I understand is that there will be a separate print out for each work order (They are not taking the print out of the list of orders). In this case there will be a form attached to the shoppaper for order print out.Your ABAPER can bring the frequency for each operations in the form for order print out.
