We have windows 2003 64 bit with Ms Sql2005 database servers for Production Bw system. Now we need to migrate to Windows 2003 cluster environment. We have already tested the BW system in the cluster environment. Please guide me what are the steps to be followed for doing from Standalone Production BW system to Cluster Bw system

    • First I'd recommend to use a current operating system, Windows 2003 is already out of maintenance and it's not a good idea to use such an old operating system to set up a new cluster. Use a 64bit Windows 2008 or Wirndows 2008 R2.

Apart from the everyting you need to know is in the installation guide and the system copy guides.

Nobody can (and will) write here a step-by-step list where to click in what sequence. If you've never dealt before with MSCS I suggest you get a good basis consultant on-site.

    Hello,

The SAP guides detail the process.
