Hi Experts,
We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario . We are not using any Workflow in SRM.
Can anyone suggest , what are the Pros and Cons of replicating ECC HR Org Structure rather than manually creating in SRM.

Pros
u2022 Best Practice
u2022 Organizational Structure existed at one place, by one department.
u2022 The process will be faster u2013 the update in SRM will happen almost immediately after the update in HR.
u2022 The replication will by ALE's.
Cons
u2022 ECC HR Org structure as may not be ideally suited for the SRM functions and may have to be adjusted by HR.

Adding to Cons -
1.Practically there are lot of Sync issues
2.However u need to maintain the attributes manually
3.If a person leaves the org it will update the Org structure immediately with out considering any open documents in SRM, practically it will lead to problems then you wil end up in searching for workarounds, notes etc.
Having worked on both the Org struc, I recommend to go with Manual structure. Easy maintenance, not too much over crowded with all HR data who are not involved in Procurement activites etc.
