SAP Language Problem

Dear All

We have installed chinese language and everthing we on well and we are able to login with chinese language also,however portion of the SAP standard menu like Logistics and the subtrees under it is still appearing in English.So kindly help us resolving this problem.

In the report RSLANG20 as per the note 110910 Can you let me know what should be selected for the language tab?? should it be english or Chinese??.

you want to refresh the Chinese language - hence you need to select Chinese here.

Thank you very much for your response,we tried with the option of selecting chinese language still the result is same.Can you let us know the detailed steps of performing a language installation along with post-installation if any?

Also when we go to special actions in SMLT Tcode we find that many support packs are missing is it that we need to upgrade all the support packages to recent so that we can get rid of this problem.

Support packages need to be available - otherwise the language dependent parts cannot be extracted.

Did you apply the language transport for SAP ERP 6.0 ?

If you, for example, use the language transport for Netweaver 7.0, then many application texts are missing ...

Thank you very much for your reply.

We are struck in the last phase, after entering the Tcode SMLT_EX we started with a new wizard and entered the particulars but the job is incomplete in 30% and when we expand the log it says could not create transport request (error 1),we could not the exact reason for this pls let us know how to go about.

what is your aim to use SMLT_EX ? This transaction is for customer specific language export ....

I do not think this will solve your problem ...

Thank you very much for your reply, we followed the link that was provided and that is how we ended up in that stage,we however having problem while providing the path for support package stack its showing that below shown CAR files are missing for language installation,but when we try to download we are getting a message this package is already included in SAPKH60001,our SPS level for SAP_APPL is SAPKH60006,kindly suggest us how to go about?

We have completed the import of the support packs that are required and its up to date,however still we are not able to see the chinese language completely in the system meaning still in many places English language is shown,kindly let us know where we could have gone wrong.
