Hi,
I need help. In SE11 I used copy function to create a new table ZBSID_BW from BSID. (To create a DataSource for my BW extract). My program works fine. When I create a table maint. for ZBSID_BW, I get the following error and hence can't generate the table maint. view for ZBSId_BW.
<b>Field ZBSID_BW-ZUONR shortened (new visible length: 000009)</b>
<i>Field ZBSID_BW-ZUONR shortened (new visible length: 000004)</i>
<b>Screen SAPLZBSID_BW 0001 could not be geneX </b>
Internal storage for screen LOAD (499803 bytes)

Thanks in Advance for your help and any comments to solve this problem.

It is probably your screen size is unable to fit all the fields in this table. Try increasing the screen size in screen attribute.

Hi Umar,
Thanks for your reply.
I was able to generate with two steps without any errors. However, in SM30 I get the following error:
<b>View/table ZBSID_BW can only be displayed and maintained with restrictions</b>
Message no. SV792
<b>Diagnosis</b>
You tried to call a maintenance dialog for the view/table ZBSID_BW, for which the table maintenance is only allowed with restrictions. You can only edit the data in the environment of another program or a view cluster.
<b>System Response</b>
The maintenance dialog is not performed.
<b>Procedure</b>
You can:
find the customizing objects for maintenance of the table/view ZBSID_BW with the 'Display Existing Maintenance Objects' button in the maintenance transction SM30, or
go to the IMG via the 'Customizing' button (also in transaction SM30) and make the settings there.
***End of error****************
I tried 'Customizing' button which gave me the following error.
<b>No object ZBSID_BW maintenance IMG activity exists
Message no. SV170</b>

I am wondering if you got the same error in SM30.
Thanks in advance.

Naved,
That is because the Delivery and Maintenance of that table (in SE11) is set as Display/Maintenance allowed with restriction. Change it to Display/Maintenance Allowed.
You can do it like this.
1. Go to SE11.
2. Edit that custom table
3. Click on Delivery and Maintenance tab
4. Select Display/Maintenance Allowed in Data Browser column
I hope this will solve your problem.
