How to install EP6 SP7?

What components necessary (download) for installation?

P.S. Installation on Windows platform (NT/I386).

I started the install from the Netweaver 04 Master Installation DVD and it forced me to locate 630 of J2EE. What gives with that? I suppose I have to upgrade to 6.40 before I get to the point of installing Portal. Anyone else seen this?

don't worry. the j2ee engine used to be 6.30 until WAS SP7 or SP8. Until then, it's called J2EE Engine 6.40.

the official way is:

your database

was 640sp3

upgrade to was640sp8

if you don't use collaboration & content management:

ep60sp3

upgrade to ep60sp7

if you use collaboration & content management:

ep60sp3

upgrade to ep60sp6

kmcsp4

upgrade to kmcsp6

patch 2 for kmcsp6

upgrade to ep60sp7

upgrade to kmcsp7

so, you'll need ep installation stack 04 cds/files and stack 05 upgrade files.

Hi!

Thanks for help. This weblog have error at line "extract 4 SARs (EP6CTL06_0, EP6PORTAL06_0, EP6TOOLS06_0, SAPINST06_0) from Stack04". Wrong defined SAR archive file name "EP6CTL06_0" must be "EP6CTRL06_0".
