Appraisal Document - how to change document status names

we have a requirement to change the standard document status names to custom ones.

for instance we need to change the standard document status name "In Process" to customer name "Evaluation"

we changed the standard names to customer names in

1. SPRO->Personnel Management->Personal Development->Objective Setting and Appraisal->Define Tabs and Process Configuration for template

2. BADI HRHAP00_DOC_STATNAME

although the status names changed correctly in the roadmap steps in the Appraisal Document iView, the standard names still show up instead of the customer names in:

- tabs under MSS Appraisal Documents iView

- column "appraisal status" in the ESS/MSS appraisal documents page

- Action Log

how can we ensure that our customer status names show up in those iViews?

    Hi Tiberiu,

I think I have already provided you with the note to solve this issue (note 1534470 Appraisal template: Customer-defined status name).

Hopefully this has solved this error

    Thank you and kind regards

    Sarah

Hi Sarah, thank you for providing us with the note.

As mentioned, we have not had a chance to implement it because we have restrictions on the schedule for application of notes.

we tried something else instead.... we changed the status names as per Note 1526003 - Incorrect field label.

however the status names did not change! do you know why?

      regards,

      Tiberiu

    Hi,

Just implement a badi based on definition HRHAP00_DOC_STATNAME. An example implementation is supplied in the standard. It can be used for both status as well as substatus names.
