WMS transfer order

Hi gurus,

I just started my training in SD Module, using transaction VL02N I Posted the Goods Issue, of course the stock was updated and 2 documents created one was the "Transfer order" and the other was the "GD goods Delivery" my question is what are this 2 documents for what Transfer Order and GD goods delivery do
