Dear experts

30-40 machines is there in shopflloor and for every machine mould change takes place like (2ml,5ml,10ml,30ml,50ml etc.,)continously.mould will not be fixed for particular machine mould can be fix anytype of machine and can prodcue deserve

components to assemble finished product.

After moulding oepration, Assmeble will do for all the components to make a finished prodcut.

Means 2 operaions 1) Moulding operaion

2)Assembling.

Now How can I map moulding operaion and Assembly operation with such number of machines in work center and routing.

then I want to fill this in master data templates in workcenter and routing acorrding to ur answer

Thanks

Raz,

??? Sounds pretty standard, unless you have omitted some oddities in your short list of requirements.

You can create a work center 'Molding'. Each Mold can be defined as a capacity. You would use scheduling formulae, such as SAP001 for setup time, and SAP002 or SAP006 for processing time

You will create a routing for each different type of product you make. In the routing, you define an operation such a "Mold Bottles" using this work center. Since you have different dies that go into each Mould, I will assume that the production rate is different for each die, and there is a 'setup' during changeover to a new die. You place the different production rates, and the setup time, in your routing.

You didn't mention anything about your assembly operation, but the techniques are the same. You can define your assembly area as a work center. You didn't mention any details about your assembly operation, so you might not need a setup formula. Scheduling formula might be SAP002 'variable machine'. You create an operation in your routing such as "Assemble Bottles" which uses this work center.

The above description covers scheduling. You didn't mention anything about capacity consumption, so I also didn't mention it. However, capacity consumption can also be accommodated in these work centers as required, by entering capacity consumption formulae.
