0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER and KSH3

Can somebody give me simple steps for

How to Convert this Custom Hierarchies to Top Node so that it can be visible and extracted ?????

Users have created random hierarchies at different Nodes levels using KSH1 in R3

I can see them in KSH3 transaction in R3

Unfortunately i cannot see them in Infopackage in BW in "Available Hierarchies in OLTP"

I cannot see them in RSA3 in R3 either for Hierarchy Name for 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER

so after researching forums and reading Notes 316976 it seems this CUSTOM HIERARCHIES should be at Top Node.

I cannot figure out the steps to bring them at Top Node

Can somebody give me simple steps for

How to Convert this Custom Hierarchies to Top Node so that it can be visible and extracted ?????..

    Hi Dave,

    First :

"Users have created random hierarchies at different Nodes levels using KSH1 in R3"

This is not advisable, if you let user do it, are they have a correct procedure HIER for your BI?

    Second :

this is a FICO forum, I'm not quiet competent to answer how BI would extract the hierarchy into info package.

    Hope helps

      thnx for suggestions--

i have to correct my statement-- Users have created random groupings of Cost centers using KSH1.

@PietStrydom - I already confirmed in BI forum, the suggestion their is to ask functional/technical folks in FI CO to suggest how to convert "independent stand alone groups" to top node .

this standalone Cost center groups are not part of any hierarchy.

so they are not visible for extraction.

@sojohns -- , what i see in OKENN i can extract it in BW without any problems.

the grouping of cost centers that are independent that were created in KSH1 i cannot extract em easily in bi

so basically i guess i have to be clear in understanding.

There is hierarchy that are in OKENN that i can see and easily extract

But there are some stand alone groupings of cost center that are visible in KSH3 but are not available .

Suggestions is to turn into top node.

Hi Dave, I Suggest you ask tis question in the BI forums, you are more likely to get an answer there. In any case, top node is just the highest node in an hierarchy.

It is not clear from your post whether you are talking about many different hierarchies in ECC, or one hierarchy with many different nodes.
