hello all
we create packaging process order, using transaction COR1.
I need to be able to maintain a visual link (as in visible in the PO) between the eventual rework PO and the originating one.
is there a way I can do that?
thank you
Alisa
thanks all but:
1) being this Pharma, we cannot use the same batch number: batches are quite crucial and must be usnique
2) status would tell me that the order has a rework order maybe (never tried it) but not WHICH order....and reversed as well.
what I need, is a visible connection; seing that order AAA has rework order BBB connected to it

Hi,
According to your statement , what you need, is a visible connection; seing that order AAA has rework order BBB connected to it.
By using batch management , you can have the linkage but you wish to have different batch ....hmmm....What about can you rename the batch to new batch ?
Please revert if you encounter any issue or if solve please close this thread.
TQ.
I think that when rework orders are created with reference to the original order it is working like an order split, and this is seen on the original order as a status, and the rework order as an assignment (to the original order).

Hi ,
Do you use Batch Management ?
If yes , Use back the original packaging process order's batch and copy the same batch into the rework order.
Via Batch - You have the tractability.
What you need to do is create another rework order type.
In the new rework order type , disable automatic generate batch (if you using auto batch generation)
Enter the original packaging process order's Batch in the rework order.
You need the following configuration. You can either copy from existing and rename it.
OPJH - Maintain Production Order Types
OPL8 - Order Type-Dependent Parameters
OPJK - Define Checking Control
OPK4 - Parameters for Order Confirmations (this will determine whether confirmation is allow for this Order Type)
OPU3 - Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders
TQ.
