I recently upgraded my local machine from vs2008 to vs2010 and I'm having some problems with any page that uses the CrystalReports ReportViewer.
I'm recieving the error:
CS0433: The type 'CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalReportViewer' exists in both
'c:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\CrystalDecisions.Web\13.0.2000.0__692fbea5521e1304\CrystalDecisions.Web.dll' and 'c:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\CrystalDecisions.Web\10.5.3700.0__692fbea5521e1304\CrystalDecisions.Web.dll'
My web.config only has references to the new 13.0.2000.0 as does the .aspx page containing the report viewer.
I was reading another similar thread , but the solution listed (remove all references, remove the report viewer, then add all the references and report viewer back) didn't work for me.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I decided to uninstall CR and te CR runtime, and it looks like I had two different run times installed (probably a 10.5 and a 13.0).
After reinstalling CR and the runtime, it's working great.
