Set "Actual Quantity" field (hidden/display/optional) in PO Itm Cat 'D'

Dear Experts,

Kindly need your advice which configuration setting that needs to be maintained to set "Actual Quantity" field (as hidden / display / optional) in Purchase Order screen layout (ME21N / ME22N / ME23N) for PO with Item Category 'D' - Service.

I've checked the following configuration path, but couldn't find 'Actual Quantity' field:

1. SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level

2. SPRO -> Materials Management -> External Services Management -> Define Screen Layout

Looking forward for your advice / feedback.

I forgot to specify my requirement, where I need to set the 'Actual Quantity' field to be visible on the PO screen layout, in PO item detail, Services tab (table for list of service item).

Could you please specify which Field Selection Group is relevant for the 'Actual Quantity' field?

I've actually checked ML90 (SPRO > MM > Ext Svc Mgmt > Define Screen Layout), especially for Field Selection Key '4'.

And I've set all fields minimum as Display on ML90 field selection key '4', but still the 'Actual Quantity' is not visible in the PO screen layout, in PO item detail, Services tab (table for list of service item).

Hi,

In PO Screen, under Services Tab Page, double click on the line item no. of service then you will get the Tab Page "Stats" there you will get fields as Actual Quantity and Entered Value. These fields get update based on the service entry sheets performed against the Service Line Item.

These fields can either be hidden or in display mode (Since updated automatically) so can not be optional or required.

You will get Actual Quantity field as "Entered quantity" under field selection group Quantity fields in ML90 and "Entered value" field as Entered value under field selection group Price and value fields in ML90. Try hide/optional options for these fields and see the effect in PO Screen for field selection key "4".

Could you please advise more which configuration should be set to display the 'Actual Quantity' field as one of the table column under Services Tab page in PO screen (without double click on the line item no)?

Dear All,

I finally found the solution for the problem I posted in this thread and I'd like to share the solution.

The configuration can be set from PO display (ME23N) transaction itself, under "Service" tab page, by following below steps:

1. Click the "Configuration" button in the upper right corner of the Services overview table.

2. Choose the Variant to be maintained in the "Variant" field in "Maintain variants" area

3. Click the "Administrator" button

4. Scroll the field list screen until you reach "Actual Quantity" field

5. Ensure that the invisible checkbox is unticked for the field you want to display

6. Click "Activate" button

7. Click "Save" button
