Hi experts,

Is there anyway to have a long text in MIGO transaction?

By default, there is a text field SGTXT which is 50 characters and it is not enough space for remarks and other purposes.

Problem solved by creating a new Tab in MIGO and customized table to store the additional fields instead of appending it into MSEG.

Hi JT,

You may want to also consider creating a note with the "Generic Object Services" (GOS). This is the pushbutton just below the green "Enter" button in the top left corner of the srceen. Use the menu Create -> Note there.

You can also attach complete documents from your presentation server.

Hi,

It is not available in SAP Standard to have a long text in MIGO Transaction.

Use BAdi "MB_MIGO_BADI" to add a new Tab Page for Text or Notes and provide space (lines) to mention the text and store it in a Z-Table of append it in MSEG table. (For this take ABAPer's help)

I'm afraid in standard not.

You may consider to append your own field into table MSEG, and then you will need to create a customer specific

screen to enter the field as you expect.
