Parmeter type number

Hi experts,

I created a Crystal report using several parameters. One of them is type "number". In Crystal reports I can enter numbers with decimals like 2.5. When running the same report from SAP B1 the system says that 2.5 is an invalid number - SAP B1 allows me only to enter full numbers like 2.

How do I have to set up the parameter in Crystal reports that SAP B1 allows me to enter numbers with decimals?

Thank you for any input.

BR

Rüdiger

    Hi Rüdiger

    Defining the parameter as currency seems to work but I dont know if this will then have problems with thye number of decimal places depending on how your currency is set up.

    I tried entering {?from} = 243.7499 and {?to} = 243.7501 withy my selection being > {?from} and < {?to}

    and it returned records which had 243.75 so there may not be rounding issues.

    AN alternative would be to accept the parameters as strings and convert them to numbers in formulas and then select base don the formulas.

    Hope this helps

    Rob
