Table CSKT and HRP1000 not aligned, diferrent kost centers text

Hello Gurus,

I made some interfases , alvs and reports showing the kost centers text (trough the table cskt) and the employees linked to those kost centers.

Now, a month later, we have made some changes in the kost centers. We have figured out that the table CSKT is not updated.

I have compared the kost centers text (filed STEXT) in HRP1000 with CSKT table (field LTEXT) and the texts are not the same. In hrp1000 table everything is fine.

Could you give me a clue ? Why CSKT table is not updated with the changes ?

I don't think cost centers are maintained in HRP1000. They are maintained in CSKS.

Text in CSKT are time dependant, check how you manage the date ranges when "joining" Infotype and cost center records as the intervals for cost centers and infotypes can (and will) be different. (i.e. what if the cost center name changed in the middle of an infotype date range, infotype is not able to store two values, i suppose HRPxxxx table keep one value read from cost center when creating or last updating the record, and of course changing the text in HR will have no effect on the text in CO, data flows the other way..)

Thanks for your propmt reply.

Every employee is linked properly with the current cost center and his text .

In the table hrp1000 I have two entries for the same Cost center with diferent texts, and one of them is delimited. This is correct.

In the table CSKT, I have just one entry and contains the old value. And this entry is not delimited .

I know that CO will not be updated.

Could you please be more specific ?

means that you changed some text in HR to describe your organization. But you don't synchronize yourself with the CO functionnal, so the actual text of cost centers did not change, and there is no reason for it to change...

You are right! I tought that table cskt gets updated while updating text in hrp1000. But it isnt.

Table cskt gets updated from CO.

Table cskt is not update when you modify hrp1000. Table cskt is update only from SAP FI/CO.
