SAP organization and Position deletion from role

i want to delete mass position and organization number from roles.recording not giving feasible solution over it.what will be the alternative for removing roles from mass position and organization number in one attempt

Hi Shripad,

When you assign a position or org unit to a role, there arises a relationship (B 007) between the role and position/org unit.

Let's say you assigned the position to role.

Then you will have an infotype 1001 record for object type S with subtype B007.

In order to delete all these infotype records in mass please go to SE38 and run RHRHDC00 report.

There enter object type S object ID - all respective position IDs.

Infotype 1001, subtype B007.

Execute the report.

then select the records with variable field starting with "AG..".

Delete them all.

This is my technique. Hope it is not very lengthy for you

Thanks a lot i guess it can be done trough pp01 too.

but what will be the solution rather than select the entry and delete it.if we need to done it throgh recording and providing records as an input...

Hi

just thought of adding my two cents to this.

you can execute report RHRHDC00 with position number blank and infotype = 1001 and subtype B007 and execute the report. in the next screen it will give you all the assignment to all position.

if you want to remove a particular role you can sort the report by role name. thereafter select multiple records and delete them all at once.
