Repetitive- Error at MFBF "Existing standard cost estimate cannot be used"

Dear All

I processing REM material with profile 0002, i have run the standard cost estimate as well as captured product cost collector however when i am entering REM backflush through MFBF the following error reports by SAP.

Diagnosis

This error appears under the following circumstances:

The existing standard cost estimate cannot be used for backflushing activities as the repetitive manufacturing profile was not maintained correctly when the standard cost estimate was carried out.

The standard cost estimate must come from product costing. Other cost estimates (such as base object controlling) are not possible.

Procedure

The repetitive manufacturing profile assigned to the material at the time of the planned cost estimate must be a profile for repetitive manufacturing with product cost collector.

Use product costing to create the standard cost estimate.

Kindly provide any solution to the above problem.

regards

Navaid

Do you have the standard cost estimate with qty structure for the material? (No base object costing is allowed). You can check by go to material master costing 2 view and click on current. It should show up the standard cost estimate per material as will be shown in CK13n.

In your repetitive manufacturing profile, 0002 will use std cost estimate. However, did you change to prelim cost estimate? If so please calculate the cost per product cost collector.

Dear Navaid,

It seems when the standard cost estimate was carried out,the REM profile was not maintained properly.

I would suggest you to take the help from CO consultant,if already a standard cost estimate has been carried out for this material

means, reorganize using CKR1,maintain the correct REM profile in MRP4 view, then carry out the estimate, release it and then check

in MFBF.
