The Automatic Credit Control settings

Dear Experts,

Settings Automatic Credit Control (OVA8) In my system :

- Open items -> Check

- Reaction -> C

- Status/Block -> Check

- Max.open.item % -> 0

- NoDays openl -> 30

Could someone explain in simple word that is that mean ?
