Hi All,
Our BW (SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0) system is running on IBM System i. We have two requirements for importing data from non-SAP database. One is MSSQL and the other is Oracle. In order to do this, we had to install a Windows Dialog instance so that the MSSQL Mgmt Studio could be installed for the DBConnect configuration (for the MSSQL connection) as well as dropping the dbssslib.dll in the kernel .
I am ready to configure the Oracle connection now. Can I just utilize the existing Windows Dialog instance and install the Oracle client software on it and drop the dbsoraslib in the kernel as well?
Thanks,
Diana

yes, that'd be the way to go.
