rELEASE STRATEGY IN PR

Hi,

My client wants different release strategy as per purchase requisition line item i.e different line items will trigger different release strategy. How do I manage this?

Can you provide more details,, Means that per material business want the Rel strategy or per Material Grp,,

What meant by Line item, is it for every line item in a PR,,,Bit Confused,, Provide more details to analyse,,

Dear Indraneel Mukhe,

In your requirement, you should use item-wise release strategy for your purchase requisitions.

a)Transaction SPRO:

MM-PUR-Purchase requisiition-Release Procedure

-> Set Up Procedure With Classification

-> Release Groups

Please make you the "Overall release indicator" is not set

b)MM-PUR-Purchase requisiition

=> Define document type

Please make you the "Overall release indicator" is not set

You must make sure indicator in both path is not set, only you will have your item-wise

release strategy for every line items.

Hi ,

Your requirement is std best practice only.

In PR only we can have multiple material trigger multiple strategy.

This is purely linked to your configuration.Please not don't assign overall release for Your document type.

Also if you provide your characteristics details we can help more.
