How we can turn it into SAP-BPC

Hi Guru's

This is Srinivasan could any body expalin me how we can satisfy the Client with SAP-BPC.My client want to implement SAP-IP and they are using HFM for consolidation.How we can turn it into SAP-BPC.

Hi Srinivasan,

BPC is an integrated toll for Planning and Consolidation..so all the functionalities needed for Planning and Consolidation are integrated..

Major Advantages are:

1. if your allready using SAP r/3 or BW then you can use BPC NW version which uses BW or BI as the backend data storage.if your using SQl as your backend go with BPC MS version..

2.For Consolidation,there ar inbuilt stored procedures for Inter company eliminations,Currency conversion,Account translation..

you just need to configure and run based on your requirement which you dont find in other..

3.As Many templates are in built you can generate the reports like PNL report very easily..

there are few other advantages over IP.

Thanks for the mail,we have already BI7.0.My question is what is the major differences between BI-IP and BPC-Planning.Is there any advance features we have compare to IP.
