Error while executing a local report

Hi Experts,

On the SharePoint site, in Report Setting, i am able to see the reports available in the SCL system. Few of them are supposed to be executed in the ECC system and some of them are local reports (which should be run in the SCL system itself).

When i try to Run the report "Display User names as a list output" which is shipped by Duet Enterprise, i am getting an error.

Could you please let me know where should i find the root cause of this issue?

Note: i have checked for possible logs in /IWFND/VIEW_LOG but could not find any entry for the given Co-relation id. And there is one entry for "BULK READ" operation in Success state for my user.

Hi Ramanath,

can you check the SharePoint logs (e.g. via the ULS Viewer)?

What errors do you see in the logs there?

If the call made it to the SCL you should see something either in SRTUTIL -> Error log or like you outlined in /IWFND/VIEW_LOG.

In order to use the local reports on the SCL you have to run the report /IWCNT/DEMO_REP_LP_CONFIG which performs required configuration stesp (e.g. create logical ports, create number range, ...). Did you do that?

Thanks,

Holger.

Hi Holger,

Yes i have run the report for configuring the local reports as mentioned below.

There are no logs in SRTUTIL and /IWFND/VIEW_LOG as well.

I will check in the ULS Viewer and will get back to you with the details.

Hi Holger,

i looked into the logs on the SharePoint side. Out of the many entries in that file, one entry looked relevant to me. The entry was,

Couldn't add role claims to the SAML token. Exception No User Profile Application available to service the request. Contact your farm administrator. is thrown.

I am not sure whether this entry is relevant for the FAILURE of the execution of local reports but thought might give some idea for the problem solving.

Kindly let me know if you have any clue about this one.
