There are a two primary ways that i can suggest.

1) you can use a sampling scheme with your sampling procedures that will allow you to specify varying sample quantities based on the lot size.

2) If you go to the inspection plan header you'll find a minimum and maximum lot quantity. This allows you to create inspection plan A, B, C, etc.. for the various expected lot sizes. The material gets assigned to all three plans. Since they are different plans, they can have their own sampling processes.

Hi Craig ,

Thanks for your reply.

Your 2nd option is clear to me.

But in 1st option sampling scheme can we set the range for lot size ? Please confirm.

It's based on lot qty. Yes, there are ranges set in it. But the issue with using sampling scheme is that you would be using one plan. I often find that wiht lot sized testing, that actual tests and types of test often vary too. In which case you would need different inspection plans anyway.
