Hello -
Wondering if someone can assist .
We have defined the cost ctr, activity type, validity period, fiscal year and dollars per hour in KP26. We would like to apply a percentage distribution to that defined information.
See example below:
Activity type = DOC 1 hr. @ $55 distributed as 70% (distribution key 3 is %) = $38.50
SECOND LINE distributed as 30% (distribution key 3 is %) = 16.50
The copy icon in the Change Activity Type/Price Planning: Overview Screen does not permit a copy. The second line is shaded. Without the second line the distribution is incorrect
Thank you for your assistance.
PietStrydom - Thank you for your quick response. Additional explanation may help.
In our configuration, Time sheets utilize the Activity Type. We had hoped that with two lines (using percentage distribution), we could have the system compute the Salary (70% of the activity rate) and the Benefits (30% of the activity rate). This would permit more granularity in reporting Salary/ Benefits.
Thanks for your help !

Hi
You need to create 2 act types for this.. you cant achieve using one single activity type
However, if you Plan the Act price from system - Its possible using one single act type also
1. Maintain a Cost Comp Str in your Plan Version 0 in OKEQ...
2. PLan expenses in KP06 (Salary & benefits cost elements separately)
3. Enter Act Qty in KP26
4. Calculate Act proce from KSPI... It will have a break up in the back ground as per the Cost COmp Str maintained in OKEQ... This Cost Comp Str to have 2 separate cost component items (One for salary and one for Benefits)

What you are describing is not possible to do in the standard system. The price of an activity is stored with the key cost centre/ activity type. There is no possibility of adding a second line with the same key.
Add a second activity type.
or explain a little bit more detail as to what you are trying to do, then we can help you better.
