SOLMAN and ERP on the same machine - disk partitioning

Dear Collegues

I am going to install ERP and Solution Manager in the same machine (VM) Windows 2008 64 bit). This is going to be a sandpit system with very few users, but need to be not too slow as presentations will be made on it.

Do I need to seperate the installations using disc partitioning?

We have 2 physical discs configured for a RAID-1 with a single array.

I am not sure if partitioning will give any benefits. If it will then which of the below options will be the most suitable.

C: OS and the SAP systems (ERP & Solman)

D: ERP DATA

E: Solman DATA

OR

C: OS

D: ERP system+ DATA

E: SOLMAN + DATA

OR

C: OS

D: ERP system

E: ERP DATA

F: SOLMAN

G: SOLMAN DATA
