hI,

I have got the following message while creating a production order,

No control data maintained for checking group Z1 and checking rule PP

Message no. AG021

I have maintained the following seting,

MRP 3 view of Header Material has Strategy 81 and Checking group 02 with checking rule pp

Material Availability (OPJK) settings,

While creation -

---

> Checking rule - PP checking rule & Component availabilty check --> ATP Check

But I don t know why system gives the error message.

Can anyone help me

Dear as you mention above you have maintain checking grp 02 for header material, while message which you are getting is for bom components so check, i think your one or more of your bom components containes checking grp pp and not 02.If so then,

either

Change checking grp of bom componets to 02 from pp

or

Maintain scope of check for combination of checking grp PP and checking rule z1 using transectgion OPJJ.

Do you assign the checking group Z1 with the checking rule PP?

Please check if there's any relation between this 2.

My question is why system picks the checking group z1, even though checking group 02 is assigned in material master.

Any one has experienced please reply me.

Check in OPJK - order control

for your order type ( mentioned in while creating production order), whats the checking rule? is ir PP

and

in OPJJ, are you maintained the link between checking rule and availability check?
