Hi,
We are on PPM5.0
We have carried out the accouting integration, and can now replicate the cProjects project in SAP-PS (automatic).
What we are now looking at is the flow of Resource/Role costs to WBS elements via Cost Elements and Activity Types.
We are not using the HR Org.
How can we now move the role cost?
We have the following queries:
- Can we specify the Cost Elements and Activity types without using any Org?
- How do we make the cost to move to PS? Which WBS element does this cost get to? Do we need to do any manual linking?
- What else do we need to set on the accounting side to achieve this?

Hi Deepak,
Difficult to answer to all your questions at once, but regarding the activity types / cost elements, what you need to do is:
- in PPM system: define your project roles type & assign them a cost/revenue rate (resource management customizing)
- in PPM system: transfer the cost/revenue rates to your accouting system (connection to external system/accounting, or transaction dpr_fin_gecco_rates
- in accouting system, map the rates to a cost element + activity type (integration with other mySAP components->cProjects->Controlling).
Then, Easy Cost Planning will be populated according to your mapping.
The WBS-E will be the one assigned to the cProjects task.
